Passed element #2 - Studying for element #3 now for testing on Feb. 26, 2007.

Yea! Passed element #3 -I'm on a borrowed 2 meter HT (VX-150) from my Elmer, Larry Boudreau - W5LDB.

Studying for Extra now, using the ARRL book and hamtestonline! I've covered about 36% subject matter for the dreaded Extra Exam. Will Test on April 16th for Extra Class Ticket! Can't believe I'm actually going to try this next test!

Got to approx 50% of Extra material reviewed using "Hamtestonline" before actual testing - scored weak in overall material. Took practice "Extra" test (X's 4) before the real McCoy and my best score was 84% - asking the questions that were the most frequently missed and most the most difficult material.

Yea! Passed Extra Ticket 44/50 (88%)on 1st try! - What a RUSH!! I can't believe it!! This is a REAL TRIP!! - I bought the Yeasu VX-150 2-meter rig from my Elmer, who had been letting me borrow it since getting my General Ticket in February this year. (He told me that it was just "Downright embarrassing for me to have a General Ticket and NO RADIO!!) So He fixed it!! He charged me for the mag-mount antenna and GAVE ME THE RADIO!!) UNBELIEVABLE!!!
