Retired in the northwest Arkansas Ozarks after 50 plus years in southeast Texas Gulf Coast region. First taste of Ham radio in 1968 as a SWL - WOW - hooked ever since!. 

Wife Carol is KF5BZI. She progressed from non-ham to General class operator in 3 week period! She loves participating in nets and all ham radio activities. She gets all the credit for turning my life around and helping me recover from heart disease and an ischemic stroke and helping me battle the ravages of diabetes. I love you , Babe!

At present I am pursuing a newly found interest in SDR. I just received my SoftRock Lite II kit and am getting prepared to learn to solder SMT devices.
