The picture is taken from our deck over looking crystal Bay on Long Lake during the late fall. I Retired from banking in 2004 after 33 years. Moved from Champlin, Mn to our lake home on Long Lake in Park Rapids, MN. Park Rapids is 160 miles NNW of Minneapolis, 150 miles due west of Duluth and 100 miles due east of Fargo, ND.

I have two wire antennas (for now) a 102' g5rv up 55' and an inverted L for 160 meters up 70 '.

I enjoy cw, dxing and exploring the low bands. My station consists of a kenwood TS 850, Ten Tec 1030 (30 meter qrp) + a smaller 30 m qrp rig and numerous 2 meter radios. I frequently bring an HT with me ice fishing and have ben known to xband to local repeaters. If you're in the area check into the 147.300 or 147.390 repeaters
