Peter Vekinis, KC1QF, started as ZS6BMY in South Africa in 1975. Since then, he has travelled extensively and has obtained EI4GV, KH6VP, SV0GV, and VE3PPV and currently lives in Luxembourg where he is LX1QF. He is the originator of the Picosat System of Digital satellite and improving the regulations relating to amateur radio service around Europe.
