I live with my wife Linda and my dog Bear. My wife also has her license. She is KI4SVE. Equipment in my shack consists of a Kenwood TS-2000 with a multi-wire dipole, an Antron 99, a Comet GP-3 for VHF/UHF and various other home brew antennas. I also have a Kenwood TS-430S, an ICOM V-8000 and a Yaesu FT-60 HT. I enjoy experimenting and building antennas. I can be found on the 2 Meter repeater in China Grove, NC as well as all HF. A special thanks to KA4CMC Jackie who Elmered me along when I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Also thanks to KG4YVL KD for all his antenna installation help. I also enjoy short wave and scanner listening. Teaching and helping others is what makes this hobby great!
