Hello My name is Dennis

I've been a technician since September 2007. As of October 25, 2008 I passed my general class. I have been operating on the 2m repeaters in the Knoxville, TN area . on aug 15 2009  we passed  the extra  class we have made it to the top of hill . hope to talk to you on the bands  73s

I've been on 11 meters since 1983 and decided to make a change over to Ham Radio. Some type of Ham Radio's that I own are Alinco 235 MK 3, Yaesu 7800, Ameritron AL 811 Amplifier, MFJ 986 Antenna tuner,  Kenwood 570s, Antenna G5-RV, 2m 440 repeater antenna, and Ranger 2990 DX, 10m Dipole Antenna, HT yaesu VX 170-MFJ 144/440 mhz swr watt meter, yagi 2el 10 meter beam. Sometimes you can find me on the 220 repeaters. 224.500, 224.800, 224.620 or 224.340.

Somtimes you can find me on 20, 40, 17, 10(when its open), and 80 meter band. Sometimes if you ever hear us give us a call we love to rag chew.

I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife Connie and I have been married for 22 wonderful years. I have 3 great kids Alica 32, Christina 21, and Jonathan 16. I have a wonderful son in law and 2 beautiful grandkids Lexie 6 and Lily 4.

Some of the stuff I like to do include doing work around the house, talking on my radios of course, being with my family, going to Myrtle Beach, watching my kids and grandkids grow up, and going to Dollywood with my family.

You will find me on Wednesday nights swap shop net 145.230 repeater, or The Red Neck net on Thursday night 146.625 and The campbell County net Wednesday nigths at 9 pm 145.130 repeater. Tuesday we check in on the 470 rat pack amateur radio club. 145.470 and 147.360 or some times you can find me on the 10 meter bands,28.330 or 28.355, or you find me on the 440 repeaters 444.300.444.175 in the knoxville Tenn or you can find me on some of the simplex;s echolink.s in the knoxville area We have made a lot of new friends,on the ham radio. thanks for stopping by and looking. if you work  me send me a  eqsl card i will get one to you , as  soon as i get from you. 73/  happy dxing
