Hello to all that come looking me up.Scott here,I live in Thomaston,GA. I am 39yrs old. I run an Kenwood TMV-71A Dual bander radio on the base feeding into a dual band collinear 65 feet up a Rohn 25 tower that is being fed with LMR-400. I also run a Yaesu Ft-950, Kenwood TS-450s , HF running into a Ameritron AL-80B. All this is going through an MFJ-986 T-tuner feeding into a multi band dipole at 50'. This is all being powered by an Astron RS-35A power supply. I have a Mosley TA 33 M Tribander on the tower as well for 10/15/20. I also have two 1000 amp deep cycle batteries as back up when the power goes out. In my mobiles: a Kenwood TM-V71A,Kenwood TS480 and an Yaesu 2900r in the wifes car(Kj4biy).

I am a member of the LaGrange,GA Amature Radio Club and the Thomaston Amateur radio club.

I am also the trustee for our family's radio club (W4TFR) The Tyndall Family Amateur Radio Club

I would like to take this time to thank my wife KJ4BIY (Lisa) for standing behind me and encouraging me to keep at my studying. We helped each other to study. I would also like to thank the following HAMs for helping me with questions about buying the right equipment, cables and other parts: WB4GWA, KI4NGD, K4BWT, KE4YZU,KE4UTQ, K4COD, and W4YKY.

I have also began collecting vintage gear. I have several Hallicrafter shortwave receivers and a National 300 and my newest addition a Heathkit DX-100B Transmitter. I plan to collect lots more.

My kids  have Passed their tech test and are working on their general ticket

I love to build my own beams and other antennas. So far I have built a 3 element 10 mtr beam and a 4 element 2 mtr beam.

You can find me most of the time on 14.300 checking into the MMSN or on the BBC (Before Breakfast Club) on 3.973 LSB. The BBC starts around 2 a.m. and the MMSN starts around 12 noon after the Intercon Net. You can check out the MMSN at www.mmsn.org.You can also find me on 3.983 on the Knights of the round table starting around 10:30 pm Est.
