I'am back!!! In the late 60's and early 70's I ran the MARS station in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. (N0FJM-KG4AM) After that when I left the Marine Corps I lost interest in radios and went to work for Michelin Tire Corp. I was a senior test driver at their test track outside of Lauruns, SC for the next 20 years. I am now working at the Greenville Veterans Outpatient Clinic as Chaplain and Hospital Service Coordinator for the Disabled American Veterans. I am a member of ARRL, SCHeart, Greenville ARES, and Advenced Skywarn Spotter (GSP).

I have an icon-7000 that is connected to a mfj-1798, 10 band veritcal antenna up in the air about 50 feet.

I enjoy bowling, and most outdoor sports such as Hiking, Kayaking, and fishing. Living on lake Hartwell gives me a chance to fish out of my kayak.

PY2KW, Nelson Pala was a phys. ed. teacher at Avare' C.E.E.N.Cel. Joao Cruz High School. He eventually became the principal and was admired by parents and students. He taught me and other students the first steps of marching band, volleyball and in the art of Ham Radio.
