First Licensed in 1987 as a Novice; Technician obtained in 1988. Achieved General and Amateur Advanced (kk4zt) in 1989. Family matters (becoming a father) resulted in my going qrt in 1993 and I ultimately disposed of all my equipment with the exception of 3 Icom electret mics and an Alliance HD 73 rotator which is still going strong after I reconditioned it in 2012.
I kept my license status active however, and in August 2012 made it back on the air. I obtained my extra class priveleges in March 2014, but I will always cherish my advanced class years and will, without question, always remain KK4ZT. . . . see you in the pileups!
