So you want to know about me. Well here goes. I am married to a wonderful wife, Maria. We have 2 children, Nick is 13 and Tom is 11. I was first licensed as KA9IQQ in 1980. My passion in Amateur Radio is Contesting. I operated field day for the first time about a week after getting my license. Our score was as bad as our operating, but we did have fun. In the 1980's and I operated mostly from KJ9D, Joe Sego (SK). Joe and I built a decent station on an 80 x 240 foot city lot. As I look back, that was the most fun this hobby has ever been for me. Joe not only was a fellow contester, but my best friend and I still miss him today. Anyway I now live on 10 acres in Trafalgar, IN. About 30 miles south of downtown Indy. Down in a valley (Don't ask me why). I have 2 towers, 1 Rohn 45 @ 88' and 1 Rohn 25 at 95'. The antennas are an 80M Inv Vee @ 90' and a 40M Inverted Vee @ 80', and a TH6 @ 95'. I plan on putting more up, just can't find the time. Maybe this summer will be the one. Equipment is FT-1000MP Mk V, IC 765, TS 940, FT-857,IC-575, Drake L4, Henry 2k, Dentron Clipperton L and various other misc stuff. Now a little about my profession. I am a Senior Quality Assurance Rep for Eli Lilly and Company, in Indianapolis, IN. Well there you go, everything you ever wanted to know about me, and a whole lot more. Hope to see you in SS this fall. 73 Mike KK9V Last modified: 2012-01-20 23:31:42, 1493 bytes cached
