I am Luis Gil Lopez ARS KP4DS Ex-KP4FKN operator, 75 years old ,married. The family is composed by Marta my wife, 6 children 2 girls and 4 boys, 12 grandchildren. I was born in Lares Puerto Rico which is one the smallest towns in the center of the Island, with about 40,000 inhabitants. In 1966 we moved to Bayamón, a city with a population of 200,000 inhabitants, which is located about 7 minutes away from San Juan Capital City.

Since I was about 12 years old I became interested in radio communicatios, became a radio operator for the Arm Forces while I was station in Italy. Now I am retired from R.J.Reynolds Tobbaco CO. since 1994 I spend most of the on the radio, love the hobby.

My qsl card art was created by my nephew and myself, it is our home town Flag ,which was to be our first flag for Puerto Rican Replubic. This flag has a lot of history behind it.
