Hi, I'm Tony, KT0NY I've been licensed since 1957 -- got my Novice license near the peak of a huge sunspot cycle. Worked DXCC as a Novice (as KN0LTB), but then became nearly inactive. Spent many years living in NYC in a QTH where radio activity would have been impossible. After I moved back to the St. Louis area (home of the World Champion St. Louis CARDINALS!), I got back on the air, at least sporadically. I have a very modest station (see picture) but I'm closing in on 300. Might make it this year if I get time to operate. I QSL via eQSL and LOTW. Good DX to you! Tony Fun DX Things I've Done: 100+ as a Novice (KN0LTB), worked in 1957 - 58. 100+ using QRP, 100+ on digital modes, 100+ on 3 bands, 250+ on CW, 200+ on phone, 40 Zones 100+ in 48 hours (CQWW 2010) 100+ in 24 hours (ARRL CW 2011) 100+ on 5 bands: 40, 30, 20, 17 and 15 (note that this is NOT 5BDXCC; for that you need 80 and 10. I have very few QSOs on either) WAS in 50 QSOs (Field Day 2011) My 2011 DX marathon score: 260. This is about a middle-of-pack result. It was fun once, but never again. When I got #250 confirmed via LOTW, it turned out to be A52PP, Bhutan, a country that I never thought I'd hear or work. I know LOTW is a pain, but considering that I haven't sent out paper QSLs since my Novice days, it's pretty cool to reach 250 confirmed, and I have LOTW to thank for that. Of course, there are lots of countries that are workable but have no hams who use LOTW, and I have many of those as well. I hope DXing gives you as much fun as I have had!
