Click for more detail... After years of being an Scanner-user, I decided to take a step up to becoming an Radio Amateur. I passed the test on 3rd May 2005. We where 14 students on the license course, and 12 passed the test. By now, as far as I know, we are 14 from the course that have the license. I am a member of the "Gardermogruppen av NRRL", you can find their webpage on http://www.la2g.no/. Some more about me: I have a son (born November '01) named Andreas and I live together with my girlfriend Anette and our daughter Nellie Hellen, on Skedsmokorset, just about 20km north of Norways capitol Oslo. I am way to interested in rally (Petter Solberg kind of rally). I run my own rally-page: http://www.nmst.no/. I use much of the weekends on rallys in Norway, both Championship rounds and CUPs. I also try to squeeze in a couple of rounds in the World Championship every year (Sweeden is an reoccurring tour every year. Boys on tour, keep all girlfriends away (kind a BOTKAGA 05). The club I run, as a foreman, is named Norwegian Motorsport Supporter Team. We have spectators and drivers/co-drivers all in one big happy family. As far as I know, we are the biggest group of good friends doing this (and the first to make motorsport reports with pictures electronically available to the public via BBSes in the late 80ies and all the way up until today on the Internet). Another hobby is Paintball. I play for a club named Gizzmo Paintball, http://www.gizzmo.no/. We play what we like to call Woodsball or Scenario games, preferably in the woods. We like the social part of the war, after a long day shooting at each other, we gathers around the camp fire with various things to have on the BBQ plus something real good to drink. My role in Gizzmo Paintball is treasurer (besides shooting my friends, lol). I have a lot of interests too. I like going fishing because of the quiet time (usually I have a stone in the end of the fishing line, I hate eating fish). From time to time I use an hour or two to look at planes on Gardermoen. Model railroad. Military vehicles (don¡¦t own one, yet). I like maps and GPS, and use it every time Im out on a tour. Photo and video (take a look at the NMST-page). I love my Xbox and the opportunity to link it to my friends Xboxes (imagine 6-8 of us with TV¡¦s, boxes and kilometres of cables and some beers a Saturday night). And a lot more... A lot... Future: I hope I can combine my hobbies. For instance Rally and HAM. It would be great to take part of the communication network most Rally organizers have. Norway is working towards arrangement of a World Rally Championship round in 2007. Would be great to take part of that. Dreams that not came trough: All the years I did not have the license, but wanted one, I pictured my self as LA1WRC (World Rally Championship). I tried to apply for that signature, but it didnt came trough. Im still crying, and will do for years. Personal motto: If you think you are in control, you are not going fast enough Last modified: Thu Dec 18 17:14:29 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content? If so, Report this page... |
