An Answer to the text on QRZ.com
Since 1983 I was member of the RL (Radio Amateurs du Luxembourg),
founding member of the IARU.
After major problems with the RL...many members decided to leave the RL society.
(Radio Amateurs du Luxembourg),
End of 2013 I left this society without any regret and I will never ever be a member again.
In Luxembourg we have 3 Amateur Radio societies: ADRAD, LARU, RL.
Today I am convinced that the change and exit from the RL I have done the right thing.
Today I am a proud
Each society has its own official QSL bureau, the only difference is that the RL is member of the IARU and ADRAD and LARU cannot be members because the restriction of the rules of the IARU.
The QSL cards for non-members of the RL, are only receive once a year against a fee of postal charges and administration costs to the addressee’s of the LX- Radio Amateur after payment.
(This is far away from the spirit of ham radio friends and most of us refuse to accept the payment and the RL society has to send back the QSL cards to the respective bureau, because the QSL card is not the propriety of a RL society)
The text on QRZ.com of LX1IQ is like money for nothing.
In a free and democratic country like Luxembourg, a society that represents their amateur radio members vis-a-vis the institutions & government , has the right to create its own QSL bureau for his members.
