Special callsign LZ125VZ is devoted to the hero of the World War II – Bulgarian general Vladimir Zaimov

Award “125th Anniversary of Birth of General Vladimir Zaimov”

The award is sponsored by members of Radio Club LZ1KVZ to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the birth of General Vladimir Zaimov and is available to all amateur radio stations and short wave listeners (SWLs).

To obtain the diploma applicants from Europe must made 5 QSO's (for stations outside Europe - 3 QSO's) with special event station LZ125VZ on different bands or modes from 1st of January 2013 till 31st of December 2013.

The award can be obtained free of charge in electronic form by E-mail. Please send application to the award manager LZ1ZF: lz1zf@abv.bg

QSL cards are not necessary, only an extract from the log (GCR).
