I am involved in HAM RADIO since 1978 as operator of several club stations (LZ2KRE, LZ2KRS, LZ2KIM). I obtained my first license in 1983 as LZ2OZ in Russe town. Since 1996 I live in Sofia. Since then i am using the callsign LZ1ONK. I am QRV on all HF bands mainly CW, but also SSB and digital modes.

I am member of LZ Open Contest Club, Thracian Rose Club #032 - Bulgaria, EPC#12524, Black Sea Contest Club #403, Croatian Telegraphy Club.

All my QSOs are uploaded in eQSL.cc and LoTW. Paper QSLs are also available via the LZ QSL bureau or direct.
