My Main interests are VHF/UHF DX. First licensed in the early 90's with G7UYO I caught the VHF bug. Weak signal modes of probagation are my main interest and enjoyment. I have recently been active on 144mhz EME and hope to make some improvements in the spring.

The antennas are assembled on a 10.7 metre tennamast . Rotator is a Pro-sistol. I also use the Morsedirigent (formerly Profi II) Paddle and also the Begali Paddle.

HF Operation

I use the Kenwood TS480SAT with an ACOM1000 Amplifier. Elecraft K2 , Yaesu FT840

My current HF Antenna is a Hexbeam which is currently down for the winter, lost it twice last year due to gale force winds!!

Family and Work

I am 45 years old and married to Kate. We have two young sons, William aged 11 and John aged 7. We also have a chocolate labrador called Roxy. William has certainly showed an interest in the hobby and may think about the foundation course in due course. The boys are massive football enthusiats and support their local teamTorquay United.
