ABOUT ME

----- I am 40 years old and live in a small city called Derby, this is located about 120 miles north of London, I work at producing fine English bone china and have done this job for 25 years, I live with my long time girlfriend of 15 years and i have one daughter (Chloe) who is now 14 years old. I first started out on the radio when i was 16 but soon moved out of my dads house and sold all my equipment and bought my first house. I have just got back into the hobby after a huge break and love to spend a few hours a day in peace and quiet scanning the bands whlie the mrs watches boring TV. Collecting the qsl cards is a big passion of mine also, so please send me your cars and I will 100% return (no contribution needed I am getting a collection together and sticking them on my wall in my workplace to make the place look like a home from home shack!) Going mobile is a another thing I like to do when is not raining, I have a good spot thats local to my QTH(see pics) and its about 5000ft ASL. If you here me up there then please give me a shout. Thanks for the visit and I hope to add you to my logg book soon. M6RCG (Paul)

MYMobile/Portablestation 1000ft ASL

This is where myself and my friend go and set up my station from the van, its a good location not far from my house

Its one of the highest spots around, as you can see all the large antennas are located for the city, its a winding drive

drive up here but worth it in the summer.
