FIRST LICENCED IN NOVEMBER 2010. I PARTICULARLY ENJOY WORKING PORTABLE FROM MOUNTAIN SUMMITS

- NORMALLY FOR THE SOTA OR HOTA AWARDS.

A FULLY QUALIFIED INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN LEADER (IML) IT IS GOOD TO COMBINE THESE TWO ACTIVITIES.

MY OTHER INTERESTS IN THE RADIO FIELD ARE WORKING 4m and 6m. AS WELL AS ANY SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS AND ISLANDS.

MY MAIN EQUIPMENT IS ALL YEASU; FT450, FT857, FT817, FT7900, FT1900 ETC. 4m RIG IS AN ANYTONE. FROM THE HILLS I NORMALLY USE THE 817 ON 5w. AS WELL AS A WOUXON 2m/4m HAND HELD THROUGH A J POLE ANTENNA.
