Thanks for stopping by and checking my call out on QRZ. I have been a ham since 2002, I was active for awhile then the things of life took my attention away form ham radio. I have since sparked my interest again and upgraded to a General class ticket. I have been enjoying the hobby very much and glad that I got back into it.

I am the K9 officer for my town and also a Paramedic Specialist for our ambulance service. I really enjoy both parts of my job and would have a tough time picking between the two.

The station consists of an Icom IC-7700 running 150-200 watts into a Alpha Delta DX-CC dipole at 40ft. I am running the Heil Proset Plus headset and switch between the two elements. I log everything with HRD and I can be found on 6m on down to 80m I cant tune up on 160m so I don't even try until I can get more wire in the air.

Thanks again for looking and hope to see you in the log.

Doug
