N1UNV is actually I6JHA born in San Fili, Province of Cosenza, Italy. Nando first took a course in Pescara, Italy for Marconisti, Telegraphy in 1952 it wasn't till 1974 that he was issue I6JHA in Pescara, Italy.

In 1972 Nando came State side, where he became a citizen in 1978. Nando retire from Sikorsky Aircraft in 1999 after 20 yrs. of service.

Nando a big gun in the New England area with his Yaesu FT1000D, Ameritron AL1500 running the 8877, not only does he put a great signal in Italy but State side as well when he transmit from Pescara, Italy. Nando transmit in all modes VHF, UHF, HF. This is Nando at his station in the U.S.A.
