Hello and thanks for stopping by. I’ve been active in Ham Radio since 1992, sometimes more active than others.

My radios are an Alinco DX-SR8 which I use for my home QTH and in my Jeep. I also have a Kenwood TS-530S which needs some work as soon as I find the time.

For antennas I have are a 10 meter Double Bazooka and a 15 meter self-made wire dipole, both in my attic, about 35 feet above the ground. In my jeep I have a K40 plus CB antenna that I work 10, 15 and 17 meters on by changing the tunable tip. Yes the tip for 17 meters is long, but I’ve worked as far as South Africa on it with 100 watts .

My plans for the near further are to try to get my home QTH useable on as many HF bands as possible before I retire in 2013.

If you'd like a real QSL card, I will respond if you send a #10 SASE. Than

Below is one of the c-17 aircraft that I work on.

Above is my home Shack.

I'm member #281 of the Margarita and Martini, 10-10 Chapter, Georgia
