Hello and thanks for stopping by. I’ve been active in Ham Radio since 1992, sometimes more active than others. Mostly I ride my Motorcycle in the summertime and play amateur radio in the winter.

For radios I have a Alinco DX-SR8 which I use in my mobile and in my home I have a Kenwood TS-2000 that I use with a PRO-SET 6 headphones( HC-6 element). For radio software I use Ham Radio Deluxe, which I 'm still learning to use. I also have a Kenwood TS-530S and a ICOM IC-251A which both needs some work that I'll take care of as soon as I find the time.

For antennas I have a 10 meter Double Bazooka, one 15 meter self-made wire dipole, one 20 meter dipole and yes a 2 meter dipole all in my attic, about 35 feet above the ground. Outside in the back yard, attached to my deck and concreted into the ground is my five-band vertical CP-5HS Diamond Antenna about 20 feet above the ground. (see picture above). In my mobile I run a Tarheel Junior screwdriver antenna.

If you'd like a real QSL card, I will respond if you send a #10 SASE. Than

Below is one of the C-17 aircraft that I work on.
