Hello to all !

As of Fall of 2012, I will have been a Ham for 45 years. I initially earned my Novice Class License in 1967. My father was not a Ham but was in the electronics business in Johnson City, TN in those days and got me interested in radios and such. I taught myself the code and a month later got that Novice license. CW has always been of interest to me as have just about every other aspect of Ham radio.

I have many other interests, including Aviation where I spent a 31 year career. In 2008 I had to take a medical retirement from aviation because of a severe form of Parkinsons and as you can imagine I'm spending most of my "free" time on the radio. I love VHF, UHF, and HF and about any other thing that has to do with the hobby. Ham Radio has been a God-send for an "old" mind like mine! haha

Take care and best of 73's and great DXing to you all.

God Bless,

Robert
