I was first licensed in 1977 as KA4EBY while stationed at Ft Gordon Georgia with the US Army. Later in 1981 at Ft Hood, TX I became N5HOT. This callsign suited the "HOT" Texas weather. In 1992 I was assigned to Ft Campbell, KY (another "HOT" weather state) and retired from the army in 1996 with more that 25 years of service. I now enjoy my hobby by working QRP CW and the digital modes with JT-65 and RTTY being my favorites. I like to work the various contests. I use an Elecraft K-3 or my new KX3.  I use  the MFJ 1775 mini dipole at 20 feet or the Butternut HF-6V vertical antenna.

My QSL route is direct, bureau, or LOTW. If a station sends me a QSL card I always reply. NO SASE REQUIRED.

72 and good DXing and I hope to work you on the bands.

Terry
