I have been involved with electronic component level repair of many types of products as a manufactures "Factory Service Agent"for over 26 years. I no longer have any dealings with Leviton Lighting Control Division in Austin, TX. Leviton has recognized that I have the ability to reading complex schematics and engineering drawings. I was responsible for confirming that finished products conform to the customers specifications and offer corrections to "As Built" drawings.

I am accomplished at operating Digital/Analog oscilloscopes, digital volt meters (DVM), spectrum analyzers, lab grade power supplies with current and voltage limit adjustments, isolated power sources, audio/RF generator, capacitance/inductance analyzers, grid DIP meters, IC programmers and custom designed test fixtures.

I have serviced equipment on-site at a customers location and as a bench technician. Equipment has ranged from computer controlled systems to a hotel sheet folding machine as a Manufacturers "Field Service Agent". I have excellent skills dealing with people.

My duties as a "Field Service Agent" involved confirming that a customer was completely satisfied with their equipment purchase. This meant that I would confirm correct operation, repair as needed and then instruct the customer as to the correct usage of their purchase on-site. The End Users/Customers included many Hotel chains, Schools, Cities, States, and Industrial users.

I designed an built a  "Geo-Thermic Well" simulator that I sold to Shell Oil Company in Houston, TX.

I am a "General" class Hamradio Operator with the callsign of N5XWB I also hold a FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License PG-9-12427 which was orginally issued in December, 1981 and upgraded September, 1986.

Advanced skills include a working knowledge of SCO UNIX and Linux computer operating systems. I hold a Linux+ Certifiicate issued September 26, 2001. This test was 3 hours long and required answering 150 question. Many embedded processor or currently running Linux. Many IRLP HAM systems are running Linux.

I am currently working on becoming a Home Builder and Inspector.  I currently own a SF rent house and I am a partner in a MF 256 door Apartment Complex.
