First licensed in 1970 as WB9DRA, Technician, in Tinley Park,Il. Built the Knight Kit TR-106(6M AM)  and matching VFO V-107 as my first rig(And it actually worked when I first turned it on!HiHi The Band was open and I worked a station in Texas as my first QSO.) Got my "Worked All Neighbors Award" real quick as we were in the Channel 2 TV Viewing area!

Moved up to General as N9CEX and started working HF along with VHF-UHF-Satellites and SSTV.

Retired to Prescott,Az. to become W7RCS and a few years later upgraded to Extra, now N7HD.

The station consists of a Yaesu FTdx 9000C(RXU9000-VRF9000-DMU9000-Mu Tune 80-40- Mu Tune 30-40). A SPE Expert Amps 2K-FA 1.5K Out on 160~6M. A Kenwood TS-2000. Antennas are a Mosley TA-63N(20~6M) a M2 6M5XHP(6M) a Cush Craft A270-10S(144~148/432~440) and a Discone(25~1300Mhz) all on a Self Supporting US Tower TMM433 Motorized Crank Up/Fold Over Tower.
