First licensed in 1970 as WB9DRA, Technician, in Tinley Park,Il. Built the Knight Kit TR-106(6M AM)  and matching VFO V-107 as my first rig(And it actually worked when I first turned it on!HiHi The Band was open and I worked a station in Texas as my first QSO.) Got my "Worked All Neighbors Award" real quick as we were in the Channel 2 TV Viewing area!

Moved up to General as N9CEX(1981)started working HF along with VHF-UHF-Satellites and SSTV.

Retired to Prescott,Az.in 2005 to become W7RCS and a few years later(2009)upgraded to Extra, now N7HD(Oct 2012).

New station as of March 1st 2016 consisting of a FTdx5000MP Limited/DMU-2000 and a Expert 1.3K-FA Amp. And a TS2000 for VHF/UHF.  Antennas are a Mosley TA-63N(20~6M)-M2 5El 6M-Cushcraft A270-10S(2M&432)-MFJ-1868Discone Vertical(50Mhz~1300Mhz) all on a US Tower TMM433SS Crank-Up/Fold-Over Tower plus a Hy-Gain AVQ18II Ground Mounted Vertical(80~10M).
