December 25 2008...

Its xmas day and things have cooled down here at the qth so I thought id start updating and adding info here.. Ive been updating my logging program and getting the LoTW stuff working and ready for an upload..

Ive Been into ham radio since 1978 and after a few year layoff im back with a new IC-765PROIII and using my existing a3s and a3ws tri band and dual band beams at 50 and 40 feet with a wire antenna for 40 thru 160. I also have an ameritron AL-80A for that little extra.. Ive always been a Dx hound and ive also managed to stay 2 away from the Honor Roll Hi HI.. In years past I worked a lot of CW but my CW speed is way down and I need to practice again and get it back up..  My other hobbys are building street rods and riding motorcycles.. I just sold my latest street rod and im taking a break for a while from the cars to ham it up in the winter and ride the Harley Davidson in the summer.. Oh ya im also an avid Deer hunter . I bow hunt and gun hunt and my favorite gun is my muzzleloader..

NEWS FLASH.. October 2009  with the recent change in the 7O1YGF status and my confirming St Barts ive finally made the HONOR ROLL . Its a Happy Day Indeed...

Ive also added a pic of the wife and I and our grand daughter at her baptisim in I think august or Sept of 2009 . Its one of the few photos I have of me :)..
