HELLO FROM TOLEDO OHIO

POINT PLACE

Thank you for looking me up! After almost over a decade I have returned on the air building my confidence up and trying out all the new technology that has evolved over the years. I run a rather modest station I currently have running a Kenwood TS-2000X into a G5RV antenna up roughly 25 feet on a city lot. I also have an Elk antenna and Yaesu 5500 rotator for satillite work. I also have two Yaesu HT's VX-7R and Vertex VX-150 and an ADI AR-144 for the car. Please Note! QSL information! I qsl through LBoTW, QRZ, EQSL and most importantly I try to do direct qsling as much as possible. I appreciate my local Post Office and trying to do my share to keep it open! It has survived a couple attempts by the government to close it down to save money.

I live in a little suburb called Point Place which used to be its own town back in the late 1800's to early 1900's. For the most part it is a quiet community with water pretty much around it. To the North of me is the Ottawa River and to the South and East the Maumee River and Lake Erie. I live about 1 mile from the Ohio/ Michigan state line. The area is pretty much a boating / sport fishing community.

This Light House greets you as you enter Point Place. Its a non functional lighthouse but a Land mark indeed.

hehe
