I am 65 years old and have been on and off the air since about 1977. I own a 2004 Dodge 3500 pickup truck with a custom 42" Double Eagle sleeper. I am leased to Bennett Transport out of Bristol, IN. The sleeper has a 3kw Honda generator to run the air conditioner, heat, TV, refrigerator, microwave and so on. I live in my truck for a month or two at a time, delivering towable RV's across the US, including Alaska and all of Canada. The pickup has almost one million miles on the odometer with the original engine. My radio equipment is a Kenwood 480HX (200 watts) for 10M thru 75M. The antenna is a Hi-Q 4-80 I also run a Kenwood D700 with a G5 geosat gps for aprs and also doubles as my dual band radio. I try to check into the Satern Net on 14.265 most week days at 11am Eastern time. This is a very worthwhile net of fellow hams that join together in an effort to help the Salvation Army in times of crisis. I also check into the Real Prestigious Net on 14.305 at 2pm Eastern time. ps. I finally updated this page after many years due to the constant NAGING of fellow ham and friend Don McMahon N7BD. I hope this makes him happy and he will give me a break on getting my legal limit amplifier installed in my truck so he can hear me. It has only been seven years on the amp. :)

Alaska. quite a place for sure, but it is nicer in the summer time!
