I go by my middle name "Alfredo" or "Al" for short. Originally licensed in 1975 (YN1AOM), I returned to the wonderful world of Amateur radio a couple of years ago. How things have changed! My original equipment back in 75 was a Yaesu FT-401b. Today I use an Elecraft K3 with a THP HL-1.2Kfx amp but still have a soft spot for the old transceivers. In my shack I have an old FT-401b and a FT-101E (complete with oscilloscope, phone patch, external vfo and dummy load - almost the full set) complemented by a FL-2100 amp. By the way, the picture above is for my other passion - military vehicles. I have a fully restored Willys MB (1945) shown just outside my house. The old MB is great to drive and still a head turner. Thanks for stopping by and 73. Al
