Previous call WD0AVV, April 1977 to July 2008.

I use CW 99% of the time and enjoy working DX and participating in contests such as the ARRL 10 Meter and CQ WW WPX. I also enjoy the occasional ragchew. I also work PSK31 and RTTY on occasion.

I run a very modest station, Kenwood TS-570DG into a ground mounted multiband vertical and a 15 Mtr Inverted V strung from the roof.

I QSL 100% either via the Buro or direct. Sending an SASE for DX contacts will help if your card is sent direct. One isn't necessary for North America contacts.

eQSL and paper QSLs ok. Prefer paper QSLs though, I like the wall paper and stamps. Sorry no LOTW.

Other hobbies/interest; Drag racing, old muscle cars (have 2 of them), hiking, mountain climbing, snow skiing, backpacking, geocaching, old trains (see OERM.org), horses (see RiverHillsPonyClub.org), riding my road bike, working in my yard, and old western movies (pre 1975).

I've operated from VY0 and KH6.
