Amateur Radio "Way Too Much Fun !! "

Current Events .

April 7th - My wife and I just returned from a trip to the most beautiful country of Italy. Spending almost two weeks from the northern town of Aviano we visited Verona, Rome and the Vatican for Easter Sunday, Florence, Venice and many smaller towns as we traveled by train and tour bus.

A memorable visit to the QTH of IV3YER Luigi and his wife at their beautiful estate in Vigonovo. I had the honor of being IV3YER's first Stateside amateur visitor. Luigi's dream station can be seen in depth at his QRZ lookup, YouTube, and web site. Great attention to detail and cutting edge gear make his station the best I've ever seen. Well done Luigi !! Amateur Radio is an amazing hobby - I felt like Luigi and I had known each other many years at the end of our first visit to his home. "Ciao" Luigi         (photo below NN1V and IV3YER)

6m Grid Square Expeditions to DM32 and DM31 this season.
