Remote operation from a summer cottage. I have experienced enhanced low angle vertical propagation on 80M over the fresh water lake directions. Although not sea water, it clearly beats the land/forest directions.

DXCC Mixed 349/340, CW 346/338, 5BDXCC, 80M CW WAS.

  • RRC 1258Mk2 remote system
  • Elecraft K3 & Expert 2K for 1500 W
  • 80M: Phased full size verticals (triangle, 0,29L spacing, 6 directions, 30+ radials in each)
  • 24m (79ft) tower was erected in June 2014
    • 40M:  JP7-2 Shorty at 24m AGL
    • 20M-10M: 4 el Ultrabeam at 28m AGL
    • 6M: 6 el 28m AGL
