I upload my QSOs to LotW regularly.

I mostly operate remotely from our summer cottage. I have experienced enhanced low angle propagation on 40M and 80M over the fresh water lake directions. Although not sea water, it clearly beats the land/forest directions. 3-5 km water towards US & Pacific. Half of the lake belongs to Liesjärvi National Park, so very little man made noise around.

DXCC Mixed 349/340, CW 346/338, 5BDXCC, 80M CW WAS.

  • RRC 1258Mk2 remote system
  • Elecraft K3 & 1,5 kW if needed
  • 80M Phased full size verticals (triangle, 0,29L spacing, 6 directions, 30+ radials in each)
  • 40M  4 square, JP7-2 Shorty at 24m AGL
  • 20M-6M 4 el Ultrabeam at 28m AGL
