I am retired after more than 40 years servicing and selling laboratory instruments. After gaining Electronics Engineering Diploma at Czech Technical Highschool in Prague in 1967 I was servicing high-tech lab instruments from UK, USA and Germany during "socialist" era. Shortly after "velvet revolution" in 1989 I started my own company to sell and service medical and laboratory equipment. Now is the time coming to enjoy hobbies.

First ham activities at radio club OK1KPR at the age of 16. Equipment was rebuilt from Wehrmacht "surplus" like TornEB, EZ6, E10K http://www.laud.no/ww2/e10k/index.htm with legendary "one for all" tubes RV12P2000 at that time. I regret, that nothing, besides good supply of tubes, was left. SWL from 1962 as OK1-9076. Own licence from 1994, PSK activities just after first description in QST in May 1999. Morse Code above 12 WPM has been always problem for me, just seeing dots and dashes in my brains all the time. Unfortunatelly not too much time to enjoy the hobby untill recently.

Secondary QTH in my weekend house in Ohrazenice, 40 km SW of Prague - LOC JN69XS, rig there Yaesu FT 897 D or FT 950 again, ACOM 1010 power amplifier, Palstar AT-500 and second GAP Titan multiband vertical again. XYL still upset.

Especially for 30 mtr band I installed double Zepp as inverted Vee, fitted atop of Spiderbeam 12 mtr fishing rod pole. Avoiding too big load for 8 mm diameter upper last Spiderbeam segment, I transferred dipole feeding point with lambda/2 (ca. 14,5 mtr) open wire 450 Ohm line to more suitable point. At this point I fitted current balun 1:1 and last distance to the shack was covered by standard RG58 coax cable. Open wire line and dipole itself, both were tuned with MFJ 259 to the resonance at 10.14 MHz for digital part of the 30 mtr band. First results are very promising. First QSO´s  were  with KB9UMT and PJ2MI from OK .

For Digi modes I transport Sony Vaio VGN-AR61S notebook, processor Intel T8100, with Windows Vista using FLDIGI software just now.To settle automatic right level of Soundcard output I use Pskmeter from KF6VSG, details:
