I'm a young radio amateur from Belgium, who got his first license in 2004, my ON2TD.

About a year later we received our ON3 license, so we can work at the HF-bands.  In 2012 the Belgium governement has changed some rules so i was forced back to my ON2TD callsign.

In 2010 i officially became the JOTA-manager for Belgium.

I was using a G5RV antenne but it was not optimal because of the small garden, so i shorten it up to a G5RV Junior, so i could place it in a proper hight and angle and so get the XYL ( =stationmanager)pleased with the wires (the hard part of Ham-radio :-)

After Talking a little to the neighbours i managed to put up a double size G5RV (62m) in the field next to my house and so i'm now shouting my signal to the lower bands also.

Since 2011-2012 new setup: tilting 20 meter tower with LogPer KLM-beam, 30 to 10 meter.

I'm working in SSB and digimodes on al HF-bands.

Most of all i'm QRV in my mobile when driving from and to the QRL.
I got the tripple magnetfoot on the top of the roof and working only with mono band whip antennas. It's a bit high but it works great, even at 120 km/h :-)
You only get the scary noises when tree branches are too low hanging over the road.

Please remember that in mobile it's not that easy to fill in the log. Most of the stations say there call in a Speedy Gonzales uptempo. Mind U that I got a microphone in my hand, a logsheet, a pencel and now and then have to steer the car if there is any hand/leg left. How kamikaze can it be.

Hope to hear you on the bands !!

73's

Tommy
