Broadcast SWL since i was 13, i got introduced to amateurradio by Joseph Van Daele, ON5FP(SK), in 1963. I became ONL2108, my main intrest was homebuilding receivers. Got my call ON6HI in 1975. My first commercial equipment was a Kenwood TS430S in 1982.

I have one son and two lovely granddaughters.

I took early retirement in 2009 and now share my time between family, the garden, my shack, ARDF and the radio association UBA as a District Manager.

My QSL is valid for the BAFARA award more on http://www.bafara.be/
