The Kruiskoutermolen (Crosscoultermill) located in the Schoolstaat (Schoolstreet) te Mere (East Flanders, Belgium) has been restored. The vanes of the renewed mill will start turning again during an official ceremony on 3 June 2006. What follows is a local festival with music, food en drinks. This small festival is organised by the local associations. One of the main organisers is the local amateur radio club. During this weekend they will present there activities to the visitors of the mill.

During the weekend of 3 and 4 June 2006 the Kruiskoutermolen (Crosscoultermill) will be activated for the first time by hamradio clubs ON7SA (UBA-AST: Aalsterse RadioAmateurs) and ON4LAR (LARA: Land van Aalst RadioAmateurs). They will be QRV this weekend on 80, 40, 20 and 2 meters, mainly in SSB. The reference of the mill is WIM9060. The callsign is ON84WMM. The number 84 is the age of the mill.
