Click for more detail... Homepage: http://www.tommyspage.dk I was licensed early 1952 at the age of 16. My main interest in HAM-radio is the technics, emphasizing receiver technics, and uptill now homebrewing. Though, as the spare parts are becoming so very tiny these day's, I may stop brewing now. Second interest is DX-ing on 14 MHz ssb mainly. DXCC score is 366/336. The Setup here is 1 kw out all solid state and homebrewed. General coverage transceiver from 10 Hz to 30 MHz. The antenna is a 4 element monobander for 20 meters, at 100 feet. It was optimised in NEC Pro. for max reduction of rear signals at all elevation angles. The boom is 12 meters. Theoretical gain is 15,5 dBi -. Since 1956, I have been with Broadcasting in DK. Maintaining all sort of transmitters, but mainly television, including klystron UHF - transmitters up to 40 kW. Retired at february 2003. My dear xyl, Chris and I, live in an old (from 1900) totally rebuild farm house about 5 kilometres outside the city of Holstebro. I am 69 years old. Since retirement, I have taken up an old dear hobby of photography, using digital camera and computer with Photoshop. It is really intriguing. You may see some of my photo's at: http://tommyspage.dk During the past three years, I have been taking photographs of some of the jazz bands performing in our jazz club. You may see and hear some of these also at "Jazz Music". Last modified: Thu Dec 18 09:05:56 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content? If so, Report this page... |
