Hi, my name is Bert, born in 1943.
I am a ham radio operator, licenced since 1968.
A year earlier, I have picked up again my interesse in this hobby, that I allready had as a Boy scout, when I was 10 Years old.
Then allready, I was dreaming to make contact between the several patrols of our scouting group.
Now, I am almost always qrv in CW, about 98 %.
And fone, only 2 %, on the 2 meter band in FM and SSTV .
Because my wife Elly (PDØMFM) and I, live in a senior appartment now, we have the possibility, to place most vertical antenna's.
Mostly I am qrv on 7Mhz, 10 MHz, 14 Mhz, 21 Mhz, and 28 Mhz..
My rig: I have a Yaesu FT897D, with a LDG 897 Ant. tuner, and a Yaesu FT897D, with a FC 30 Ant. tuner.
And also, I have a little QRP rig, it is the Yaesu FT817ND, and the power is abt 5 Watts.
I never use full power, only 80 % of the maximum power the tranceivers can produce.
My antenna systems for HF are: a home made Dipole for 40 Mtr and also, a home made dipole for 30 Mtr, abt 1,5 mter below the 40 mtr dipole. (is not at foto)
And a vertical antenna, a GPA30, for 20 Mtr, 15 Mtr and 10 Mtr.
For VHF: also a vertical antenna.
I am not a member of a club, so do not send a QSL card via the bureau, I will not received them.
QSL only direct.
Send a SAE with Post stamp for the Netherlands.
Send a SAE with $ 1,00 for QSL insite Europe.
Send a SAE with $ 2,00 for QSL outsite Europe.
And also to SWL stations, I will send a QSL 100% in return. (at the same conditions)
Best regards and hope you enjoyed this page.
