I was licensed in May 1955. I found the hobby while being on military service during 1952/1953 in the Dutch Signal Corps where I trained enlisted soldiers to become telegraphists.

I am a member of VERON, the Dutch IARU Society, since 1952, and served at several council functions during many years. In 1966 I was a member of the VERON delegation to the IARU Region 1 Conference in Cefalu, then stil Yugoslavia. I was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of IARU Region 1 in April 1975 which post I held until November 2002. I was one of the founding members of the IARU Administrative council.

I enjoy DX hunting and CW-contesting. I have DXCC Nr.1 Honor Roll mixed and Phone and need onlly P5 on CW to complete CW-DXCC.

I do QSL 100% on receipt of your QSL card either by Bureau, direct mail if sufficient return postage is included, and via LotW.

From 12th August 2014 until 8th September 2014 I shall use the special callsign:

This special callsign is in honor of the 73rd 'UNESCO National Heritage' Flowerparade in my hometown Zundert.

A special qsl card and an award program will be issued for this event.

The amateurs of the VERON, Section 54, Etten-Leur will participate in the program.

How to obtain the QSLcard and the Award will be published under the call PA73CORSO on this site.
