This picture shows one of the beverages, this one is facing N.A.there is a other one facing JA. and VK, those beverage's are 160 meter long and 2 meters above the ground, on tonkin sticks and insulators as used by farmers. In winter time I'm allow to use my neighbour's farmland to put up those beverage antennas.
On the right is a picture of the homemade broadband transformer, ratio 1:1.56 for the 160 meter vertical antenna. The coil showing in the picture is not connected.
I got interested in low bands DXing after attending a presentation of John Devoldere, ON4UN. I bought his book Low-Band DXing and I'm working now om my DXCC for 160 meters.
