Prev. calls : HB0/PA0ABM (HB0Y/PD7RB), LX6/PD7RB/p, DO/PD7RB and during RSGB IOTA contests as PA0ABM/P / PA6HQ/P / PI4HQ/P from EU-146.

Member of PI4CC Contest Club.
I enjoy contesting and a contest location is a nice place to be, when you are restricted to install big antennas at your own location and are living in a man-made noise area, which seems to increase.

And it is a nice way to learn new things related to the hobby.

Participating in CQ WW / WPX / IARU / PACC / RSGB IOTA contests etc... (different modes).

Guest operator at: PI4DX (CQ WW + WPX SSB)

My QTH (loc. JO21DV) is situated between Rotterdam and Hook of Holland along the river Nieuwe Waterweg (New Waterway), which is the entrance to the well-known Port of Rotterdam.

Other hobbies are : motordriving (currently Suzuki DL-650 V-Strom, 2008) and atletics (not fanatic right now, but did run a few half marathons in the past).

I am also member of VERON section A-59
