I enjoy contesting and a contest location is a nice place to be, when you are restricted to install big antennas at your own location and are living in a man-made noise area, which seems to increase.
And it is a nice way to learn new things related to the hobby.
Participating in CQ WW / WPX / IARU / PACC / RSGB IOTA contests etc. (different modes).

My QTH (loc. JO21DV) is situated between Rotterdam and Hook of Holland along the river Nieuwe Waterweg (New Waterway), which is the entrance to the well-known Port of Rotterdam.

Other hobbies are : motordriving (currently Suzuki DL-650 V-Strom, 2008) and atletics (not fanatic right now, but did run a few half marathons in the past).
