The picture on top of the FT-102 is from Rik, ON6DH. This highly respected OM passed away on the 25th of january 2006.

The talented Rik is the builder of the "plankceiver" direct conversion transceiver based on a multiplexer mixer, a rather new concept in HAM-radio technology. (2005)

Rik is an early pioneer, and one of the first who succeeded in creating a very usable transceiver, using this concept.

He will be well remembered by the many friends he has, in and outside the HAM community.

Henri Rik Debruyn: july 3 1945 - januari 25 2006.
