Hello, dear friends!
My name is Gennady (Gene).
I'm a licensed HAM from 1979 (formerly call was UA3AVC).
In 1986, the year I upgraded my license and got a call RA3AL.
My station is located approximately 10 kilometers from the capital city of Moscow, in my little house and a small garden.
This is a great place with beautiful scenery and good conditions for DX and QRP.
I work mainly CW, because this regime, as for most, but DIGI phone and a little.
After December 31.1999 (January 1.2000) I prefer QRP power 1 Watt transmission whistle in all modes!
Now, however, sometimes allowing yourself to raise the power up to 5 W
I have two towers up to 27 meters tall with the 4 element SteppIR Yagi antenna
and 2 of 2 elements Yagi of 40 and 30 meters bands. For 80 and 160, IM using two simple dipoles
one for each channel. On top for verticals.
Upon entering the House, K3 transceivers KX3 and I for Elecraft, Flex-1500 and many other QRP transceivers
and military Texas & RX (small collection), Yaesu FT-817 to VHF.
Vibroplex original bug-type "speed-X 515 Model Forest Logan with" (I believe,1937).
Sometimes I use around my house too, FX-4A, FT-817, but it is getting better,KX3.
In addition, every day I'm working with my old car LAND ROVER, it's usually my primary work CW.
I have no problem working on the CW while in motion, I do this every day for many, many years.
Here is my IC-7000 and MFJ-1640, 30.20 GP + GP antenna for VHF.
I am a former professional soldiers, and currently I am a collector of old portable CW radio, only special.
As radio, which they listen.
Report any power will greatly appreciated, indeed. My email address on here today.
