SA6YC is a racdioclub at the west coast of sweden. It was officially created late 2004, in november, and got it's callsign in the middle of february, 2005. The creators of the club was a gang of young ham-operators that used to do stuff together using their own calls (fielddays, other activities). the name, the Yankee Club (swe: Yankeeligan) was choosen because all the members in the beginning has a signal beginning with 'Y' (SM6Yxx), and were already known to the locals as "Yankeeligan". We hope to perform some activities on the air, and try to participate in a few contests every year.
