Click for more detail... This is my special callsign celebrating my 40th "birthday" as an Amateur on the Ham-bands. It all started on November 7th 1966 as SM7DJZ from Oskarshamn with 7 watts CO/PA-transmitter and a Trio 9R-59 and a G5RV as the antenna. In 1969 I moved to Linköping for the university and became SM5DJZ. In 1973 I got my job at Scandinavian Airlines and moved to Märsta and became SMØDJZ. In the year 2000 we found this QTH which is in SM5-land, hence changed call again to SM5DJZ. Some callsigns used on DX-peditions during the years (mainly as 2´nd op): 5H3BH 5H3WCY OY1JH S9AGD JW/SMØDJZ 5R8FU XW3ØA XU1A SV5/SMØDJZ XT2JZ Today I am Checkpointer for IOTA-Scandinavia and DXCC, and also running the outgoing QSL-bureau for SSA. A special QSL-card has been printed and will be sent to all cards received 100%. No E-QSL please!
