I got my licence and callsign SP9UH in August 1958. My first QSO was logged in September 1958 with SM6BXJ. However, I worked a bit earlier at club station SP9KDC of which I was a founder and as its first and only one authorized operator. In the meantime I used event special callsigns 3Z9UH, SQ9UH. In the years 1977-1980 I was QRV as VU2UH from New Delhi, India. My favourite emission is CW. In result 90% of QSO's on bands 160 m - 70 cm are CW. Since 2001 I use also digital modes, mainly RTTY and PSK31. My station in in 1958 was a home made crystal controlled TX with an old tube LS50 in PA, input was abt 20 Watts, RX was BC348n, antenna windom 20,3 m. In year 2008 I celebrate "FIFTY YEARS ON THE AIR"
