Special Event Station will be on the air from Istanbul between 24 and 30 September,2008 to commemorate the 470th anniversary of Preveze Naval Victory. Two stations will be setup at Heybeliada Naval High School and Terkos Karaburun Lighthouse. Activity will be mainly on 20 and 40m bands. If you have QSOs on more than one band,like one in 20m and one in 40m, and send your QSL card direct you will recieve the Preveze Award free of charge.
