Primary interest since day one has always been chasing DX on CW and SSB.
IOTA's and Lighthouses are on the list of regular activities as well.

Current station is an FT920 and a TA33

After many years of service the 5 band 2 element Gemquad has been replaced with a rebuilt TA33.

Aplha Delta DX-B 1/4 sloper. Cubex Yellow Jacket-46 quad for 2m and 70 cm

Like many hams as the DXCC 'needed' list shrinks I found my interest in DXing fading a little.

LEO satellites and activating Lighthouses has become another activity of recent years.
CAN540 and CAN 541 are a few Km away.
Arrow antenna on a tripod for AO51.
Buddipole and an FT897 for portable HF and lighthouses.

Lighhouses I have operated from the last few years;

  • CAN 540 - Port Dalhousie - Front Range
  • CAN 541 - Port Dalhousie - Rear Range
  • CAN 617 - Port Maitland
  • CAN 546 - Goderich Light Station
  • CAN 812 - Kincardine Front Range
  • CAN 264 - Kincardine/Kincardine Rear Range
  • CAN 170 - Enragee Point
  • CAN 388- Point Clark
  • CAN 405 - Port Burwell
