Currently residing in Penn Valley, CA Geoff moved to California in 1994. VE3MKZ is active on all bands from 160m through 3/4cm. HF station equipment includes TS570, FT817, TS130, TS120, FT7. HF antennas include TH6-DX (an original from 1954!!) at 45', full size OCF wire antennas for 160, 80 and 40 and an 18AVT vertical. VHF/UHF equipment includes the previously mentioned FT817 along with single band FM radios for 144, 220 and 440mHz. Antennas include a home made J-Pole for FM work as well as home made yagi's for 220 and 440. An old unknown model KTH antenna covers 144 mHz.
